The head has only two possible moves: up-down and left-right. Each complete arm has 11 articulated joints. Shoulder and elbow joints have two possible moves each.

Bumblebee head ready for downloadFinally, something you can work on!

I’ve completed the Bumblebee Head this weekend and I decided to make it available for download, so you can start your own Bumblebee right now! I will start building his arms next weekend, so you can expect their download link soon.

As you see, I’ve used two blue leds as his eyes. IMHO, it looks great!

Bumblebee 3D model torsoIt’s been a long time since my last update. You see, I was busy with the Super Tucano…

Now back to Bumblebee, I started unfolding head and arms which gave me 7 pages - 1 page for the head and 3 pages each arm.

I’ve been working on the torso and right now, I’m modeling the feet. You can check more pics at Bumblebee page.

Last year, before Phenom 100 did its first flight, I thought about designing a simple model of it. Just to put on my desk.

This model is quite simple, so I wasn’t planning to make it available. When I release the Super-Tucano, people encouraged me to show up the Phenom 100.

I was invited to plan and coordinate a paper model workshop. Ten members from a local church attended this workshop. The purpose is these ten will work among careless children using our hobby techniques.

I choose two dinosaurs from Canon Papercraft website.

Divided into two groups of five people each, we started our work.

Here, you can see me teaching them how to fold Model parts and tools on the table

First, I gave them a bit of paper model history. Then the learned how to score folding lines and how to cut and paste properly.

As we worked for three hours only, I didn’t expect them to finish their models. However, I think they did a great job. Remember, they are all beginners.
