Paper engineering

Oct8

Meet the work of Chris Gilmour, a British artist who builds life size cars and other artifacts using cardboards.

His works are awesome specially when you get into the details. In his website, you can find a Fiat 500, an Aston Martin and many others, filled with all its instruments, seats and gears.

His most recent work is a Hot Rod and it looks like it will be the most impressive! Take a look at the V8 engine details.

The Munster Koach

Aug1

Here come The Munsters!

Finally, I’ve got some time to finish my model. It took a lot of time due to its arches and metal parts, but I think I’ve done a good job :)

I’ve used foil paper on chrome and gold parts, transparent paper on the windows and some wires in the engine.

You can check some pics and download model and instructions from The Munster Koach page.

Besides that, I detailed some parts at cardmodels.net forum.

Enjoy it!

Munster Koach: Build review

Jul10

I’ve started building the Koach this weekend.

I think this is a very detailed model, so I’ve decided to write a review containing some guides and tips.

You can check the review at CardModels.net forum.
